Description
A Chelsea porcelain bell shaped mug decorated with finches perched on branches with leaves and berries and butterflies.
Probably copied from a coloured drawing by George Edwards from one of his books on birds,
On the base is small hand painted red anchor.
Circa: 1754.
Condition: Hairline crack invisibly restored which was running down from the top rim into the body of the finch on the left,
