Description
A Victorian Staffordshire equestrian figure of Napoleon on his horse Marengo.
This figure was probably inspired by the painting by Jacques-Louis David of Napoleon crossing the Alps
and would explain the rugged terrain on the base the horse is stepping over.
Circa:1850.
Condition: good.
Size: 17 cm high.
