A pair of small porcelain Dudson  figures   modelled as seated Shepherd and Shepherdess beneath trees, each with a dog and 2 sheep, with applied coloured  lavender blue shredded clay  and gilt banding hollow bases.

For a very similar pair of figures see Fig 105 page 73 in ‘Dudson Staffordshire Figures’ c. 1815 – c. 1865 by Audrey Dudson and Alison Morgan.

Circa; 1830.

Condition; very good for the age, no damage or restoration.

Height; Both 10 c m high.
