Description

A small rare porcelain Derby wine taster or tastevin used by sommeliers when judging the maturity, quality and taste of wine .

Decorated in blue on white porcelain with ogee shaped bowl and lobed rim, with an oriental style flower to the centre and moulded leaf shaped handle with detailing. Cell moulded pattern on the inside of the rim.

Circa: 1770.

Condition; Good, just a small chip to top rim.
