A Good pair of porcelain Derby pointer and setter dogs, The setter and pointer in a realistic typical working  poses both standing on uneven naturalistic bases with applied leaves and flowers, hand decorated with polychrome natural colours,

The Pointer was probably inspired by Mr George Stubbs  famous painting of a Spanish Pointer and modelled at Derby

by William Coffee.

Circa: 1785-95.

Condition; Flowers and tail on the pointer restored, setter, good condition.

Pointer height 10cm “4 inches”, width 19.5cm “7.75 inches”

Setter height 12.5cm “5 inches”, width 17cm “6.75 inches”
