A Chelsea sliver shaped round plate outlined in brown & marked with a red anchor. Finely decorated with spays of
flowers, leaves, and scattered floral sprigs and two colourful butterflies and insects.
This well known shape originated in silver by Nicholas Sprimont “silver-smith” and founder of the Chelsea porcelain factory.
Circa: 1753-1754.
